Standards

The sisters of Delta Alpha Chi, as daughters and representatives of Christ, hold each other accountable to the following standards:


  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi presents herself as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. -1 Timothy 2:25

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi flees from the evil desires of youth to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. -2 Timothy 2:22

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi offers her life as a living sacrifice. She does not conform to the ways of the world so that she may be able to discern what God has in store for her. -Romans 12:1-2

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi glorifies the Lord in all her actions. -1 Corinthians 10:31

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi is an example to her sisters and fellow believers in speech, life, love, faith, and purity. -1 Timothy 4:12
 
  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi abstains from sexual immorality, homosexuality, impurity, and greed, because these are not the actions of God's people. -Ephesians 5:3, Leviticus 20:13

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi abstains from drunkenness, and is instead filled with the Holy Spirit. -Ephesians 5:18

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi abstains from illegal substances, and instead treats her body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. -1 Corinthians 6:19

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi does not participate in illegal activities, but instead upholds the Lord's commandments. -Exodus 20:1-17

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi does everything without complaining or arguing. -Philippians 2:14

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi uses her speech to edify and encourage others, and to give praise and glory to her Father in Heaven. -Hebrews 3:13, James 3:3-11

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi is accountable to her fellow sisters by encouraging them in their walk and correcting out of love. -Galatians 6:1

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi focuses her mind on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, and praise-worthy. -Philippians 4:8

  • A lady of Delta Alpha Chi remembers "Many women do noble deeds, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." -Proverbs 31:29
