In the spring of 2006, fourteen Florida State University women and a spiritual advisor joined together to form the first Christian Sorority on the campus of Florida State University. The fifteen founders desired to create a sisterhood founded on Christ and share His love to their campus and community. The founders sought to build a sisterhood and tradition on the Word of God.
Their vision and dream became a reality during the Fall of 2006.
September 22, 2006
The founders hosted their first Recruitment event and invited Christian women to the Wofford home to attend and learn more about the new sorority at FSU.
September 25, 2006
The name "Delta Alpha Chi" was revealed and spoken for the first time on FSU's campus at the Wesley Center.
October 8, 2006
The founders of Delta Alpha Chi distribute the first bid thus inducting the Alpha class (the first pledge class).
October 9, 2006
The first bid celebration occurred at Westcott Fountain.
October 16, 2006
